The daily dish guessing game
One new dish a day. Six guesses. Can you name the diner's Special?
Lunch Special is a bite-sized daily puzzle dressed up as a 1950s diner. Every day a single world dish is the "Special" (Pho, Bibimbap, Shepherd's Pie, a humble Hamburger), and you have six guesses to name it. Each miss slides a fresh clue ticket across the counter: first the region, then origin and history, a pop-culture moment, a key ingredient, and finally a near-giveaway. Guesses come back with a Wordle-style read on country, region, course, temperature, protein, and shared ingredients.
It's free, needs no account, and keeps your streak in the browser. Finished today's plate? The Menu Archive lets you cook through every past Special, and "Chef's Choice" serves a random dish any time. Share your result as a spoiler-free emoji grid.
Short version (copy-paste): Lunch Special is a free daily guessing game: name the diner's mystery world dish in six guesses, with a new Special every day, on the web and as a Discord Activity.
